Your King Returns to the Lanes and Other Mundane Things

1) Well last Monday it happened. The thing that I dreaded the most occurred. I dread it because it signals that winter is soon to follow. I dread it like a hemorrhoid. The thing I am talking about is bowling season at Spencerport Bowl. My league switched to Mondays this year as our Tuesday night league shrunk too much. What is nice about Mondays is that the remnants of our league, combined with the Monday night league makes it a full house. Its always good to see the place filled. But I still hate bowling on Monday. Tuesday was nice as it helped to break up the week into halves but Monday???? Ugh.
Now that the litigation problems with the lanes seem to be over the owners have 'promised' to make much needed improvements. The machines are running very well right now which is great and there is oil on the lanes. Last year they ran out and the shot turned to hell. Unfortunately my game is not so hot right now as I am so used to throwing the ball so hard I cannot get the needed touch back to be consistent on slicker lanes. I know the touch will come back and for once I will have lots of handicap when it does and its about time. Yippee.
2) Once again Mother Nature decided to cancel my Sunday golf outing with rain. It figures that the first time it rains in three weeks it would rain Saturday night into Sunday morning. Ugh. I did not report on my efforts from the previous Sunday but they were very 'Grinch' like. Ugh again.
3) The Bill's defense put on quite a show for fifty minutes last Sunday but then died because the Bill's offense was absolutely putrid. Mr. Mind's offensive unit played like pooh. Why they signed Owens is beyond me as it seems Edwards does not want to throw him the ball. And why they gave Lee Evans a fat contract is beyond me too for the same reason. The offensive line was just plain offensive as Edwards got to know the Saint's defensive line on a first name basis. Mr. Mind's unemployment countdown stands at tee minus thirteen and counting.
4) If anyone sees my Queen can you please bring her home and reintroduce her to the royal kitchen. I am now royally sick of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. If not, please reintroduce her to Wegmans and show her how to buy food. Not ice cream, not goodies, not crappola but food. What is the purpose of making and freezing spaghetti sauce when there is no macaroni to put it on but, then again, there is ice cream for Prince Spoiled Brat.
5) Its nearing election time again! Why is it that the Republicans are smart enough to come around when you are at home while the Democrats always seem to leave stuff in your door? If the Democrats do not want to make the effort to come and say hi when we are home why would we want to vote for them? It does make an lasting impression on you when someone like County Councilman Steve Tucciarello (I hope I spelled it right Steve, not that you will ever read this but I pride myself on my spelling) visits and spends a few minutes chatting with you. I am big on impressions. I have gotten to like Mark McIntee as I have had chats with him on a few occasions so if Mark Assini wants my vote for Gates Town Supervisor he should stop by the Kingdom of Moronica when I am at home and say hi. Hey, I voted for Ralph, and I am glad that I did, so if you want to keep my vote in line...but then again I do have 'other' reasons to vote for Assini.
Boy have I spouted a lot of moronica tonight. I may have to ice down my typing fingers as they are starting to ache. Heaven forbid I get that tendinitis again and have to take some time off but then again, as nobody reads my crap anyways, I guess it just does not matter. As always, your King.

Mike Steele - He Opens his Mouth and Instantly Becomes a Candidate for MHOF Enshrinement

You know what really bothers your King? Its when people open their mouths and spew moronica out of it. In today's Democrat and Chronicle I read where Mike Steele, the Republican National Chairman, came out against President Obama going to Switzerland to lobby for Chicago to obtain the 2016 Olympics. The only thing I agree with is that the President may have other things that are more pressing on his docket at this time. But if his lobbying effort succeeds in netting Chicago the Olympics then it was well worth the trip.
Coming out against the Olympic trip shows that neo-conservatives like Mike Steele will stop at nothing to condemn anything and everything that the President tries to do no matter what it is. Its just plain stupid. Even most moderate Republicans know that obtaining the Olympics is a win-win situation for the United States. Lets look at the positives that would result from a successful trip by our President, positives that Mike Steele and his ilk do not want to see President Obama obtain at any cost.
1) National Prestige - Its always good to be in the limelight and for the U.S. it is no exception. Its a chance to show the world the positives about our country and this is the weakest reason I will list. It would also show Americans that President Obama can deliver the goods and increase his prestige, something that neo-conservatives like Mike Steele would dread like the plague.
2) Jobs - Building venues and improving infrastructure in and around Chicago will put people to work. Look at the infrastructure jobs that Salt Lake City required to be created so that it's infrastructure would be ready for the Olympics. I lived near SLC for a couple of years and it needed plenty of work to improve the traffic around that city. Traffic that it would not have been able to handle during the Games without the required improvements. SLC now has a beltway around it that it did not have before. Route 215 needed to be built as routes 15 and 80 were insane during rush hour.
3) Money - Money that would be flowing out of the U.S. by people traveling to either Rio or Tokyo will be kept in the United States where we would rather keep it. Money staying here keeps jobs here.
4) Tourism - People from other countries will flood into the U.S. during this time period and what will they bring - money. Money that would be spent in other countries would be spent here and that is always a plus. While the economy in and around Chicago would improve greatly I am sure that there will be people coming to the U.S. that will stay and take the time to see some of the other sites this country has to offer spreading the wealth a little bit.
5) Anacondas - Brazil has them. Do we really need to hear about some little gymnast being wrapped up and snacked on by some large snake? No, we do not.
These are things that Mike Steele is obviously against our President trying to obtain. Mike Steele is against the flow of money into our country. Mike Steele is for well fed Anacondas. Mike Steele is against the jobs that would be created by the games coming here. Mike Steele is certainly against any prestige that the President would obtain by a successful lobbying effort. Mike Steele is an idiot for this. As I said previously, he is just another neo-conservative moron out to tarnish anything our President tries to do. Now, I am not saying our President is doing a perfect job, far from it, but he is trying his best with the cards he has been dealt with. He understands the power of having the Games in the United States. We stand a better chance because of his efforts. If anyone can sell Chicago it is President Obama. The Olympic committee knows that having the Games here is a cash cow for them. The strike against Tokyo is that Seoul just had the games and the strikes against Rio are infrastructure concerns and the still dreaded security issues as, for instance, sometimes there are shootouts on the expressway between the airport and the city. But why Rio is probably the favorite right now is that Brazil has become the economic powerhouse of South America and the Olympic Committee may feel that South America's time has come to host the games. But then again, Chicago has had a colored history of concerns too, as we all remember the 1968 Democratic National Convention and Democratic Mayor Richard Daley's moronica. Right now Chicago is a clear number two. I expect Rio to get the Games but the Olympic Committee always loves being schmoozed by heads of state. Can Obama pull off THE upset?? Mike Steele sure hopes not.
For once I would like to see both sides show unity in trying to do what is best for our country. Mike Steele is obviously a divider. The Republicans do not need him at their helm. While I am not saying that they should lock step with the party in control right now they should do more in terms of unity when the President is trying to something that would OBVIOUSLY benefit our country.
We need to hear from more moderates from both sides and the wacko wings of each party need to be heard less from. But the thing is that the moderates always seem to remain quiet and the wackos always seem to remain loud. Unfortunately that is the way it is and that is the way it will stay until someone steps forward, someone who can stand up and be heard above the din of the morons. Someone who can take both the left and the right and make a middle out of them. Who is that someone? Is that someone alive today? It was definitely not Bush and it does not seem to be Obama. Until the crap stops our country will remain weaker than it should be. That is too bad.
And thats the way it is Wednesday September 30, 2009 This is King Dinglefritz saying goodnight from Moronica. Hopefully next time my spewing will be a little more lighthearted as I detest having to write about stupidity.

Fox News makes me Sick to my Stomach

I have tried to keep an open mind as my brother has encouraged me to try to watch Fox News more often. I have made a few concerted attempts but each time I am left shaking my head at the moronica that is spewed. Once again I turned it to the O'Reilly Factor and it turned out that he was interviewing two more of his right wing trash spouting buddies. I believe the name of one of the people he was 'interviewing' was Bill Scolfield, though I may be wrong as my brain decided it was not worth registering. He was continuing the birther argument in regards to President Obama. Why are people allowed to spew this crap on national television? This guy is a complete moron who turned me completely off with his hatred of the president. Hasn't there been enough evidence produced to show that President Obama was born in Hawaii? Hell, I was born in Rochester, New York but I could not find my original birth certificate and all I had for the longest time was a hospital birth notice. Does that mean I was born outside of the USA? Of course not. I now have been able to obtain a certified copy of it but if I was running for president I may have had the same problem as President Obama. I am sick to death of these birthers continuing to flog a dead horse. Get over it jerks, our President was born in Hawaii plain and simple.
This is the type of crap that continually gets aired over the 'fair and balanced' news station that Fox claims to be. I do not blame President Obama for not allowing himself to be interviewed on Fox. If I knew I was not going to get a fair shake I would not do it either. Fox News is a den of rattlesnakes just waiting to sink their fangs into him the first chance they get. If Fox were to treat him fairly I am sure he would grant them time but they are so far off the deep end it is ridiculous. I am sure he would not mind being asked tough but fair questions but I am certain these questions would be skewed so badly as to make any answer he would give to them fodder for continued Fox talking head ridicule.
Fair and balanced means you have someone from the left and someone from the right being interviewed by someone who can see both sides of the story. From what I have seen that does not happen with Fox. All you get from Fox is a right wing love fest that continues to foment conservative hatred of anything that the President tries to do no matter how good it may be for the country.
What really makes me sick is seeing all of the signs being carried by narrow minded jerks nowadays in right wing protest rallies. The one that really made me sick said "My zoo has an African (Picture of a lion) and in the white house we have a lying African". Is this stuff we really need? I bet that woman is really proud to have a picture of herself and that sign floating throughout the Internet. And this is the stuff that Fox News seems to help foment indirectly.
Changing course a little, President Obama seems to be well liked in the international community, save for the usual suspects who hate us period. He is trying to take us away from the reputation that we gained for being the world's bully for the past eight years. President Bush tried but his Vice President held too much of his ear for too long and had way too much power. Who knows what kind of presidency he could have had if he had a more kinder, gentler and thoughtful Vice President other than Tricky Dick Cheney with his battery powered heart (his body rejected his real one). Cheney was the consummate Chicken Hawk and how George Bush could have chosen him to be his second is beyond me as President Bush deep down seems to be a really nice guy. Cheney is not. In fact, Cheney's back surgeon tried to operate on his spine the other day but had to close him right back up because he could not find it.
This is my opinion take it or leave it. I try to be moderate but sometimes I just have to tell it the way I see it. Tonight I bashed the right, maybe tomorrow it will be the left. Only time will tell. Goodnight from Moronica.

Heartsickness at the Palace as Prince Blamski Succumbs to Fox News Kool Aid

I was deeply saddened today as I have just discovered that my brother, Prince Blamski, has guzzled heartily from the bottle of Fox News Kool Aid. He must have been home from work one day and was bored. He must have been channel surfing and landed on the Fox News Channel and decided to stay there and watch. I had the bad news confirmed when I sent my brother an email with a news link about the California Water Crisis and he forwarded the link to Fox for them to review and to give him more input. There is nothing more dangerous than sipping Fox News Kool Aid except maybe sipping MSNBC News Kool Aid, which is just as bad.
Fox claims to be fair and balanced, well I gave Bill O'Reilly a try the other night and had to turn him off when he brought on two guests, both of whom did not like President Obama. Now how can you have a fair and balanced debate when everybody in the debate dislikes the president? Baffling. Your King steers clear of these news channels though if I need to watch a channel for breaking news I will watch CNN. Even though they tilt a little left I feel they present the fairest news coverage of both sides.
Back to Prince Blamski, I do not know what I can do to cure him of this malady. The last time I heard about Kool Aid this dangerous the Reverend Jim Jones was passing it out in Guyana and we all know what happened there. My God, he is even watching Glen Beck who you could probably call the Reverend Jim Jones of Fox News. O'Reilly can be palatable at times but Hannity w/o Combs???? Yeah THAT is fair and balanced.
I do have the Fox Channel in my list of favorite stations that I scan, out of over a hundred, but I do not have MSNBC in my list. Left wingers can be even nuttier than the righties. I prefer to try to drive down the middle of the road for the most part. On some issues I swing left, gay rights for example(I say let them get married so they can be as miserable as me) and on some issues I swing right, more rights for police and bring back the death penalty for certain cases. For example, the Garcia case here in the Rochester area is a prime example of someone that deserves a seat on Ol' Sparky but will end up getting housed and fed for the rest of his life at our expense. This guy is as guilty as our winters are rotten and should be gassed. And that is my opinion, take it or leave it. While you cannot give police carte blanche, still too much good evidence can get thrown out because of some little search technicality and heaven forbid it allows some sociopath to have his case dismissed and set out upon society again.
There are channels out there that supply news to all sections of society. Just because someone prefers Fox over MSNBC, or vice verse, does not make that person less intelligent. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that is what makes this country great. Look at Iran right now, heaven forbid you are a reformist as you could be arrested or attacked. Ex-president Khatami is a reformist who actually was attacked by the hardliners recently but thankfully was rescued before he was injured. You cannot express reformist opinions in Iran without the threat of hard line retaliation or arrest. How un-american. Here we can have people screaming at Congressman during Town Hall Meetings but they are not attacked or arrested because this is America. While they are rude, insolent morons they can still be heard though it would be nice if they would turn down the decibels.
In closing I say you can chose whatever Kool-Aid you want to drink but respect the opinion of others that choose to drink from a different bottle. I still respect Prince Blamski even though he drank heartily from the Fox News bottle. I choose not to. I would rather watch Man vs. Food and see Adam Richman try to devour some nuclear (Nuklar if you are a Bushie -LOL) chicken wings as it is far more entertaining or watch something on the Science Channel, as it is far more educating than watching talking heads spout out nonsense on any news channel. That is my opinion and since this is Moronica, which is a small part of America, you CAN take it or leave it.

PS: If you read the garbage that I spout in this crazy blog of mine I would like to hear from you. Please feel free to leave your King a comment as I would like to see what opinions others have. I respect all opinions, right, left or moderate. Thanks.

Random Thoughts from the Palace

1) Is there a bigger jerk in this world than Kanye West??? He is so big of a jerk that even the President thinks he is a jackass. Where did this idiot West come from and why does he think he has to remain in the public eye? His 'appearance' at the MTV awards show was a new low for any human being. To just go up on stage, swipe the microphone and steal the moment from Taylor Swift was downright stupid and egotistical. At least Beyonce did the right thing later in bringing Taylor back out and sharing her big moment with Taylor when she won her award. Kanye should pack up his ego into a bag and move to some south sea island and stay there out of the public eye forever. Whats funny is that he may now even become more famous because of his stupidity. The bits they now play on the Wease Show that use parts of what he says in his scene stealing moment are a big hoot.
2) The Bills showed some grit for fifty-five minutes this past Monday night. To bad Mr. Mind's crew reverted to form for the last five minutes and gave New England the victory. I actually had a brief thought, with five minutes left, that the Bills may just do it but deep down I knew that the Patriots would win so it was to no surprise to me that they did. Poor Leodis McKelvin. He will always be known for that one fumble and then to have vandals ruin his front lawn...not a good week for the guy. What people do not realize is that even if Leodis took a knee the Patriots still had four timeouts(including the two minute warning) left. If the Bills did not get a first down, which would have been highly likely knowing Mr. Mind's play calling in these situations before, the Patriots probably would have had well over a minute and a half to march down field for a score. A minute and a half is an eternity to a surgeon like Brady. I am now starting what I will call Mr. Mind's unemployment clock...We have tee minus fifteen to go before he is launched.
3) I just watched a video starring Glen Beck of Fox News fame which was recommended to me by my brother Prince Blamski. My god, watching it was like watching Senator Joseph McCarthy all over again. Are we really going to go back in time and start rooting around for communists again??? I do not recall Fox News rooting around for right wing fascists when President Bush was in office. Its time for both parties to jettison their radical wings and for the moderates to start working together. Only then will government work for the people. I recommend to Glen Beck to watch the 1962 version of the Manchurian Candidate to see how foolish Senator Eislin looked looking for his commies. Now that was a good movie!!! The Tea Party scenes were the best and Kheigh Deigh, soon to become Steve McGarrett's nemesis Wo Fat, was at his notorious best.
4) I did not report on my golf outing last week so I will sum it up in three words...stink, stank, stunk. Except for a brilliantly played shot from behind a tree on ten it was a day to forget. Tomorrow is supposed to be a gorgeous day, maybe I will play better, but then again, maybe I should bring my McCulloch just in case.
5) I am glad that the Congress decided to stop funding ACORN. Even Senator Franken voted for the ceasing of their funding. There are too many bad apples in the ACORN basket at this time to allow continued funding of this group. The ACORN tree needs to be clean out thoroughly from any squirrels before any thought of resuming funding can be allowed. If funding is ever resumed the group needs to be monitored closely for any further bad apples.
6) Health Care- Senator Baucus' finally unveiled his bill on Wednesday and it was immediately assailed by both sides. Hmmm, maybe this bill could be a pretty good start since both sides do not like it. I am sure there are many needed tweeks that must be made but it could be the ground work for something that both sides might eventually swallow.
7) Can we really afford the rate hikes that RG&E and NYSEG are asking for? They say the money would go for infrastructure improvement but I would bet that a lot of the money will go to executive pay raises and bonuses. Lets hope the Public Service Commission rules against or severely reduces their request. I am very sick and tired tired of hearing a sucking noise, that seems to get louder, every time I open my wallet. I am poor enough as it is thanks to my lovely, and expensive, Queen.
Well, I hope you have enjoyed my random thoughts as much as I enjoyed typing them out with my two little fingers. This is your King saying good day from the Palace and have a happy!

A 'Shocker' at the White House

If you did not read my blog from Sunday stop here and read that first then read the following shocking article in Monday's paper. Since I am mostly computer illiterate and do not have a clue as to how to put a link in, I will have to type it in manually.

WASHINGTON DC (AP) Secret Service agents today subdued and arrested a man claiming to be Santa Claus after they found him sitting in the Oval Office during a routing inspection. He was described to be an old, fat man with a long white beard by agents.
A Secret Service agent, requesting to remain anonymous said. "He was just sitting there, claiming to be Santa Claus, and he said he was waiting to speak with President Obama about obtaining stimulus funds for his workshop. After a very brief scuffle we tasered him five times, for our protection, and proceeded to arrest him. He was booked and then taken to Bellvue Hospital for a complete psychiatric evaluation. The funny thing is that while we have tapes of him visiting the White House early last week, claiming the same thing and being escorted out of the building nicely by fellow agents that day, we reviewed all of the security tapes from Saturday and Sunday and have no record of him entering the White House again. We will continue to examine the tapes to determine where and how the security breach occurred."
President Obama had no comment at this time in regards to the incident.

I was shocked to read this story. How could those Secret Service goons zap poor Santa five times with a taser?? Just an innocent, jolly old man trying to put a little extra joy is this depressing world we live in. For shame!! But then again I do not expect them to hold him for long, since he IS Santa, he has ways of getting in AND he has ways of getting out of places without being seen. Hopefully soon I will be able to contact him and get his side of the story. Good night from Moronica.

Economy Recovering? I Doubt it.

I pride myself on being well read and after reading all of the stuff in the newspaper about the economy turning the corner I decided to call my friend Santa Claus again to get the real lowdown as how Santa goes so goes the economy. Besides, who believes government officials anyways as they all lie or spin it to the max. My first attempt to call him at his workshop was answered by a machine that said the the shop was temporarily closed and will reopen shortly...not a good sign. I then tried Santa's cell phone and found him, surprisingly in Washington D.C., and here is a synopsis of the conversation:
"Hi Santa, Its your friend King Dinglefritz again calling you on the economy. I tried the workshop but its closed, whats up? "
"Oh, hi Dingle, its good to hear from you again. Yes, I closed the shop for six weeks this summer due to a lack of work. I furloughed the elves, the few that I have left, and told them to report back on September 20th. By then I should have enough orders in place to keep them busy until the big day."
"Santa, why are you in Washington?"
"I was hoping to get to see President Obama to try to get a small piece of the funds available in the stimulus package so I could bring happiness to the world and bring all of my elves back to work."
"You tried to get a part of the bailout before last year but you couldn't because you are not a citizen of the U.S. "
"That is right Dingle but I was hoping that, with a new person in charge, I would have better luck. I was going to say that it would be in the best interests of the United States, and the world, if they were to grant me some funds. Can you think of a better way to improve the United State's image in the world than to help me bring happiness in this time of gloom and doom? I can't think of any so I tried to get in to see him but.."
"What happened?"
" I stopped at the White House and tried to see him but this big dummy in dark glasses and a black suit would not let me into the Oval Office. I said 'I am Santa Claus and I am here to see the President' and he said snidely 'Well Santa, I am the Grinch and you are not going in'. I took a small step forward and before I knew it I was set upon from behind by a couple of his goon friends and beaten up."
"You have to be kidding me Santa, Couldn't they tell it was you just by looking at you?"
"You would think that but that still didn't stop them. That were actually enjoying beating this jolly, fat old man up until they finally had me tied up in knots and escorted out. I will tell you this though that boy are they in for a surprise come December 25th. I will have something special for them...the louses"
"Are you still going to try to see the President?"
"Yes. I need to get my shop back up and running at full speed with all of my elves as there seems to be so little joy and happiness in the world these days and maybe, just maybe, ol' Saint Nick can do something about it. With a full crew I can crank out the goodies and make a lot of people happier than they would have been without me."
"They already booted you out once, how do you expect to get in?"
"Ho, Ho Ho there Dingle, you forget that I am Santa and I have my own special way of getting into places where I need to get to, ho ho ho."
"Heh, heh, heh that is true Santa, oh so true."
"I am actually going to try to see him again later today. Wish me luck."
"Good luck Santa. I wish you only success!"
"I will need it. I hope this guy is a better listener than the other one. The other one had some balding, old white guy walking around the place with a shotgun claiming he was the Vice President. I had to be wary of him."
"So do his friends, Santa, so do his friends. Can I call you back in a couple of days to see how you made out?"
"Dingle, you can call me anytime, well almost anytime. I hope to have some kind of answer by the end of the week. Take care Dingle."
"Good bye Santa and good luck."
Hopefully Santa will have better luck this time trying to see the president. With unemployment still climbing too many people cannot afford to have a good Christmas this year and that is so sad. Maybe a few bucks from the government can go a long way to put people, well elves, back to work and a little happiness that would be the end result from their efforts. It would be money well spent for a change.

Americans Deserve Better

I am sick and tired of the bitter divisiveness between the two political parties that we now have. They act like children and are an embarrassment to us all. First of all South Carolina Representative Wilson was probably right, but definitely very rude and immature, when he yelled out "You lie" to the president during his speech. The fact is that most all state and national politicians lie. It is a prerequisite for their job as no one in hell would vote for any politician if they told us the actual truth. As King of as nonpolitical entity I never have to lie as I have no one to answer to, well except maybe the Queen. I do not have to run for election. I do not have to tell people everything will be rosy if they vote for me. Politicians do. They will say or do anything they have to to get elected. In political advertisments they will take a snippet of a statement taken out of context from their competitor and twist it around to make them sound like they are completely against something that they are actually for. It is a joke when October comes around and we all have to listen to the bull crap they spew on the radio and the telly. They think we are dummies and, from some of the reactions that are being seen on television, they are probably right. Sarah Palin says the death panels are coming and, like a flock of sheep, all of the Palinites go crazy. Does anyone in their right mind actually believe that there will be death panels?? I am sorry but Sarah Palin is a goofball quitter who should stay at home in Alaska looking at Russia across the Bering Sea. There is a better chance of the Spanish Inquisition making a return than the 'so called' death panels becoming a reality. If she believes that she has a chance in hell of ever getting elected to a high national office then she is a bigger goof than I thought. She got a little grief as governor and quit on Alaska, and she would quit on us if the going got tough. And that is my opinion, take it or leave it. (PS: I really got a big hoot out of the Palinite who wrote, in a letter to the editor in the Sunday Buffalo News a couple of months ago, that Sarah was responsible for the construction of the Alaskan pipeline. Boy does she have his number)
We also deserve better behaved politicians. A quickie list of some of the politicians who have set good behavior back 100 years would include the following: Senator Clark from Idaho with his happy feet, Governor Spitzer from New York with his happy hooker, Former Representative David Duke from Louisiana and his white bed sheet, Representative Foley from Florida with his disgustingly perverted emails, Governor Sanford of South Carolina with his hotty in Argentina and, of course, Bill Clinton and the famous 'Lewinsky' he received. There are plenty more but these are the best ones. I find it quite humorous that Representative Wilson from South Carolina was the one who yelled out 'you lie' when, in fact, the governor of his state is a bigger liar than President Obama will ever be. Sanford's wife did not move out of the Governor's mansion with the kids for nothing, now did she. His wife was thinking he was out for a hike in the Appalachians when he was in reality having a good time doing the Cucaracha in Buenos Aires. For the sake of his state he should resign. Eliot Spitzer did the right thing in resigning and so should Governor Sanford, but in Elliot's favor at least he used his own cash to pay for his good time.
They say that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Look at all of the politicians that have been caught when it comes to corruption. Need I say more than the Abramhov (I am sure I botched this guy's name but you know who I mean and I am too lazy to look it up) scandal. And how about the Louisiana democrat who had over $90,000 in illicit funds in his freezer at home. Now that is really cold hard cash!!
I was thinking that after Obama was rudely interrupted during his speech maybe he should have sung that line from a song that went "clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right here I am stuck in the middle with you". How true that would have been. It seems that respect for the office of the president has gone down the drain. The Democrats booed "W" when he spoke of Social Security reform. The idiots should let the president speak and then make their comments afterwords when they have their rebuttal time. It seems like most Congressman behave like children and act liked spoiled righteous brats and maybe we should start treating them like it. We Americans should send Congress into the corner in the next election never to be heard from again, but alas, that won't happen. Most representatives stay, some come and go but acutally nothing ever changes. It doesn't matter which party is in the majority, Democrats or Republicans, its just the same old crap wrapped in different paper. Is there someone out there that could unite this country if elected president? Probably not at this time and that is a shame as we could sure use this person. Unity would make us a stronger nation. It has been said that a nation divided must surely fall and that is where we are at right now.... divided and headed for oblivion.

King Dinglefritz Finally Breaks Through

Well, it took almost four months of playing golf in my little Sunday morning league but your King finally pulled off the impossible and won this past Sunday. I finally broke ninety with an eighty-nine, that could have and should have been an eighty-two or so, for the day. The front nine was a roller coaster with a couple of birds and a number of the dreaded others while the back nine was a more consistent effort and the only hole I did not score a point on was number ten where I had to count a whiff I, honest guy that I am, had trying to hit the ball out from under a stupid bush. I ended up with a double bogey on that hole with that being the only blemish on an otherwise nice back nine ending up with a score of forty three. Back to the front nine...what an adventure. I finally parred number one, which is actually an easy hole when played correctly, and birdied number two. On two, a two hundred yard par three, I was off the green by about ten to fifteen feet and used my seven iron to chip-putt and promptly drained that chip dead nuts right to the center of the flag stick. One under after two, not bad! Three was nondescript but the fun began on number four, a par five that I should handle easily, as I promptly sent my tee shot somewhere over the trees and through the woods aiming for Grandma's house. Never found that one as I think it ended up wet as I crushed it and it probably ended up in the pond on three. After playing the hole like a keystone cop I ended up with a nine, a great score in Baccarat but not in golf. Hole number five, a dogleg left par four, was a carbon copy of hole number two as I was just off the green after two. I was on the fringe but the fringe was very undulating so I could not putt the silly thing and chip-putted with a seven iron again. Bang right into the hole again for a birdie and four big points! Hole number six is usually one of my strongest holes as it is a par five that I can easily reach in two. The drive was long but into the rough on the left side of the fairway. Then I took out my seven wood and crushed it but, as I do have a tendency to align myself incorrectly at times, I sent it right back towards Grandma's house. Grandma was not happy with that effort as I ended up with a double bogey. Holes seven and eight were doubles as well as Dingle the Butcher showed up again. Nine was a better effort though I did snatch a bogey out of the jaws of a par by using my wedge instead of my seven iron in the grass around the green. It was upsetting to be where I was as I landed my ball four feet from the pin and it just went BOING instead of sticking which is surprising as I hit the ball very high, high enough to bring rain but not this Sunday as it was gorgeous. I ended up with a forty-six for the front nine and the score it could have, and should have, been irks me to no end.
I am sure that I bore anyone and everyone who reads about my golf adventures but I just cannot bring myself to write about politics and the sheer moronica that it continues to provide. I am just so happy to be playing regularly again, despite the best efforts of my Queen to bankrupt us. At least I can provide some humor with the continued adventures of my tree wood and my fishing wedge. My Queen now has an omelet maker so there may be another attempt on my life via that route and if I survive I am sure to write about that.
Bowling season is soon to start so I may have some very funny things to write about that, especially since I have not picked up the ball, except to move it, since April. At least the lanes will not have ponds, trees and bunkers to make my life miserable but, then again, at the place where I bowl the lanes do have bunkers, lane four has a nice bunker in the heads that you have to avoid, and the occasional pond when it rains. It will be interesting to see if they have made any improvements to that den of Moronica, and MHOF member, called Spencerport Lanes this summer. I am not holding out any hopes of that however as the only way that place will be improved is if they raze it.
Well that's enough of my bombastic crappola for today. Please check again for more royal rantings from the Palace soon.
PS: What has happened to my Pumas(U.N.A.M.) in the Mexican Soccer League? They have scored one goal in six games and if they continue to play as badly as they are they will be relegated to the second division next season and I probably will never see them again. The really funny thing is that they are playing in the Champions League as they had a very good season last year. What in hell happened to them this off season???

More Idle Moronica from the Palace

1) I had a chuckle when I saw the headline from the sports section from Thursday's Democrat and Chronicle as it said 'Bills' stars likely to rest'. Now that is on oxymoron if ever I heard one. Since when do the words 'Bills' and 'stars' go together? I had to consult the NFL version of the Hertzprung-Russell star diagram to see where the Bills' "stars" actually rate in the league. They were rated as M-type stars which are very cool and dim. Reviewing the diagram further I found that the stars for the Patriots and the Steelers were in the range of A,B-O type starts which are hot and very bright. The only team that rated lower than the Bills in terms of star type ratings were the Detroit Lions as they were in the Brown Dwarf category and that is sad. Maybe the headline should have read "Bills' regulars likely to rest" as that would have been far more truthful but then again we are dealing with the Democrat and Chronicle.
2) The jury in the Tyquan Rivera case pleased me to no end. They came back very quickly with the correct verdict. How that kid expected anyone to believe that fish tale of a masked man is beyond me. Why would any masked man, after shooting an officer of the law, stop and take the time to ask the kid to hide the gun and then open his wallet to give him three bills. He would be off faster than the Road Runner being chased by a whole bunch of coyotes and the gun would have ended up either being taken with him or in some dumpster somewhere. Now what really sucks is that even though the verdict is guilty he will NOT get the punishment that he deserves. He will get a maximum of 10 years and after that this sociopath of kid will be back on the streets as an adult with an agenda. The rules MUST be changed to prevent sociopaths like this kid to get off so easily and get back out onto the streets so quickly. The public must be protected from this menace and others like him.
3) My Queen is now on double secret probation as your King discovered that the Palace's treasury was down a few quarts. Though I am all for trying to stimulate the economy back into health but not at the expense of my Kingdom, I am not a happy man.
4) Mr. Mind fired the wrong person this past Friday. He should have fired himself. Turk Schonert was a very weak offensive coordinator and he was hired by Mr. Mind. The chain is only as strong as its weakest link and Mr. Mind, with apologies to Anne Robinson....You are the weakest link....Goodbye!(soon I hope).
5) School starts again this coming Wednesday. Boy I cannot wait until I see that bus picking up Prince Spoiled Brat the First and carting him off. It means another summer has come and gone but then again, how can we miss something we really did not have this year. While this past week has been absolutely gorgeous the temperatures were still a touch below normal. My central air ran for only 3 weeks this year and from the looks of the forecast it may not be used again. That is good for me and too bad for RG&E.
I believe that you all have had enough of my ramblings for a Saturday afternoon so I am now done. Have a Happy.
