A Worriesome Comparison

I am going to be serious for a moment about a trend that disturbs me greatly. I will preface this by saying that those that do not learn from history are bound to repeat it and it is hard to believe that this kind of history is re-blossoming here in the USA. I am talking about a splinter group of the 'Tea Party' movement, and only this splinter group and members thereof, that seems to be infesting our great country right now. I hate to say this but I have to compare these people and movement to the Nazi S.A.(S.A.) that arose during the 1930s in Germany.
Lets do the comparison:
The S.A. were an ultra right wing group and the Tea Party extremist splinter group is an ultra right wing group.
As a student of WWII I remember what is called 'The Night of the Broken Glass'. What some members of this group have been espousing is the throwing of bricks through the front glass windows of Congressman's offices. While this has, at this time, come to nowhere near the extent of what happened during this night when the S.A. went bananas and broke thousands of windows of stores that were owned by the Jewish merchants you can feel the extremism of this group growing. I have to compare that lunatic blogger Mr. Vanderboegh (spelling?), who is advocating this type of brick throwing violence, to the leaders of the S.A. Violence of any type begets more and deeper violence. This can be seen by people leaving messages for Congressman to the effect that snipers will be on the lookout for them and their relatives. These message leavers are very sick in the head. Someone actually left an envelope of white powder in an office but it was later deemed not to be harmful but the threat there is implied.
Extremist members of the Tea Party group have been hurling racial and anti gay epithets at our representatives in Congress outside of the Capitol Building and the S.A. were good at doing the same thing towards the Jewish people. It is a shame that people in this country still resort to such barbaric crap. A lot of Republicans have come out against this type of garbage and more should become vocal and denounce it.
Republicans do not want to come out and speak against this group as a whole who will solidly vote for them but Tea Party splinter group activities, I am sure, worry a great number of them. The S.A. also worried Hitler and he did something about it. Hitler had the leadership of the S.A. wiped out. Ernst Roehm was shot, well actually he was given a gun and it was recommended to him that he use it on himself. The Nazi S.S. took care of the rest of them. The leaderless S.A. was then absorbed into the army.
I want it to be made perfectly clear that I am not saying that Republicans are comparable to the Nazis, they are just the minority party at this time doing to the Democrats what the Democrats did to them when they were in power. It is this splinter group of the Tea Party that I bring these comparisons against. The great big difference here is that the Nazi leadership was behind the S.A. until they became a problem near the end of the Thirties and were dealt with.

The reason for all this petty violence, epithets and drama?: The new Health Care (HC) bill.
The Democrats are only trying to do what they believe to be the best thing for our country, and it will take time to see how the HC bill works out. Back in the 1930s the Republicans railed against the New Deal and were vowing to have it repealed, just like the present HC bill, but when Eisenhower was elected nothing became of this as the New Deal gradually won favor. Maybe it will happen with this bill too but only time will tell. The HC bill is not perfect, far from it, but it is a start and instead of pissing and moaning and vowing its repeal maybe the GOP, along with the Democrats, should start working on ways to make it better. But we all know that will not happen. I am a big proponent of bipartisan efforts to run this country but, unfortunately, that is years away when hopefully more reasonable people will be in government. The funny thing is that Republican ex-senator William Frist has gone on record saying that he would have voted FOR this bill. I do find it strange that not a single Republican shared his view, well at least not in public. I will always wonder what the results of a secret ballot would have been.
The Tea Party extremist splinter group is a small group of nutcases at this time, but then again so was the S.A. in the early thirties, and I hope and believe that membership in this group will not grow as Americans are now seeing what kind of people are members of this band of idiots. I have faith in the population of this country to not allow this group to become another modern day S.A. History is there to be studied and at this time it should be to prevent hooliganism from running rampant in our streets as it was in Thirties Germany. I know we are better than this. We need to work together and extremists of any group will not allow this to happen.
Well that is enough for now. This blog has upset your King's digestion so now I have to take some Pepto Bismol but I had to get this off my chest as hatred, stupidity and violence need to be eliminated from our society.

LOL, if you believe the Tea Party People are the real problem in America shows me how totally clueless you are on what is going on, or your one of those he needs big Government to tell you how to run your life, and to take care you ( What a Loser ). If you really hate the constitution, and what it stands for by all means move to Europe with the rest of your far left liberals friends.
So why don't you keep your mouth shut, all your doing is showing how stupid you really are.

Mr. Pacifica, I am against violence through extremism. The Government is only trying to make things better for all, including you and those less fortunate. I, myself, do not need this as I have health insurance through my job. Maybe I was a little harsh on the group as a whole but I see a disturbing trend that reminded me of past events. I may tweak my blog just a bit to better show that it is a splinter part of the tea party activists that upset me. Now, maybe if you had more than a third grade education you would see these trends too and be disturbed, even more than you seem to be mentally.
The Tea Party people probably, for the most part, are peaceful people but you have the extremist splinter part of that group advocating violence and verbal stupidity. I am against that. I would hate to see what would happen if Tea Party people actually gained power. If they stuck to their guns about government we would probably see and end to Social Security and Medicare which are both government run programs. It is funny how people do not want a government run medical care system but when you mention anything about reducing or eliminating Medicare boy does the fur fly.
Free speech is fine as long as it does not advocate the use of violence. Does the Constitution advocate the throwing of bricks through Congressman's office windows? Show me the part of it that allows that to happen and I will shut up.
Now, Lets take a look at countries like France, England and Canada among others whose citizens are all under their government's medical umbrellas. Thye seem to be doing just fine. Even Cuba's citizens are medically taken care of by their government. How about that? It would be nice for that to be here if it was feasible but I am afraid this country is too big for such a system. Why is it that our citizens are going across the border into Canada to obtain drugs that they cannot afford to pay for here in the USA? Can you explain that?
Let us see you do some blogging and let me comment on what you believe in or are you afraid that someone might not like what you have to say? I have visited your site and you seem to be rather, how can I say it, quiet. Use your constitutionally granted right to free speech like I have. Maybe we will all see how stupid YOU really are. Besides, I am not a far left liberal but a middle of the road moderate affiliated with no political party because I cannot stand either of them, and that is my right too. And I am registered to vote, are you? If you aren't, well maybe you should move to North Korea where nobody has to worry about voting, just which idiot son of Kim Jung Il will take over after he croaks.

I too am against violence, but more intrusions on on freedoms, and the redistribution of wealth is called Socialism, or didn't they teach that in your school. I to believe the less fortunate need help, but where in the Constitution does it say it's a right.
So Mister Moronica please can you produce actual footage or pictures of proof that the Tea Party is causing all of what you are saying, or haven't you stopped long enough to think maybe, just maybe that it might be from the other side too, why would a Tea Party member shoot out a window at Mr Cantor office, please explain that too me.
I do agree that Social Security, and Medicare were good ideas, and did work well, but why for the love of God would you want them to control Health care, can't you see that all Government control programs are now going Bankrupt let me list a few, Social Security,
Medicare, Post office, and in the near future Health care.
Do you believe those idiots will keep there hands off that huge pile of money they gather up, I say they will use some of it in other programs, and when the time comes there will be hardly nothing left to start funding the program.
I think with all that, and the tremendous amount of added debt that this Country will go bankrupt.
Now on this other subject that you brought up about, over in Europe you seem to think there are better off than we are, I think you should read up on that matter cause you are way off.
Now Canada on the other hand does have cheaper prescription drugs than we do, and that's a real good thing for us cause we have the best of both worlds.
Now it's your turn explain this, why on the other hand are they, and everyone else in the world come over here for treatment, Please Please tell me? Let me give you a hint, it's because our Medical knowledge is superior over all, and you don't have to wait 6 months for treatment.
Now Mr. Moronica I to vote, and I will do everything I can to help in the repeal of this Bill, and if, and when this happens, I will be the first one to yell out, and say start over, and get Health care done the right way which won't cost us trillion's of dollars of debt.
Now please will you move, or get back in your pod, and go back where you come from.

Now this is more like it. We can now have an excellent open discussion instead of you just calling me stupid. I am glad you are against viloence and I, even though I am unfamialar with the assault on Mr. Cantor's office, denounce it whomever is responsible. I really do not believe that this law is an intrusion of freedom. If you do not have health insurance, as many millions do not, you are relying on those that do to pay your way if you get sick. That is why premiums continue to skyrocket. The bill that has been signed signed wants everyone to become covered. It will help those who cannot afford the full costs with subsidies. Insurance companies get more funds with increased enrollment thereby, in theory, putting a brake on the increases. You say that Medicare did work well but what is Medicare besides being Government run health care?
The post office, though a government entity, is not government run, they have to pay their own way. They are not subsidized.
I fully agree with you that the idiots will not be able to keep their hands off on cash that they accrue through whatever means they use to pay for it. They will continue to spend and put their IOUs in the box for future generations to pay. I saw in today's paper that while we are in not in the best shape financially as a country there are other countries that have more debt versus their Gross National Product. France and India are two.
You have mentioned Europe and in studies there are countries over there whose health care rates higher than ours. This should not happen as we should be number one.
I agree we have some of the best physicians in the world which helps explain why people, that can afford it, seek out their services but I counter the Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak went to Germany to have his health needs taken care of, not here.
The one thing we have not seen is a Republican plan for health care. All we have heard form them is that this one needs to go. I would relish a chance to see what their ideas are to reform health care. I am sure that I would agree with many of their ideas. One of the things that Republicans tout is Tort reform and I am all for that. The "James Sokoloves' of the world need to be reigned in along with the outrageous monetary decisions granted by our courts. There needs to be limits and it will not happen with democrats running the show.
I long for the days when we had President Bill Clinton and the Republicans in Congress. Together they had the government running at a surplus. George Bush started this mess by plunging us into two wars and then cutting taxes. Anyone in their right mind knows that you can do one or the other but NOT both at the same time. Obama is now piling onto that mountain of debt.
Now, being a lover of the Constituion as you claim to be, you should know that I have the right not to go back into my "pod" and cease my writings and I relish the opportunity to debate you in the future. That is what makes this country great...open debate between two sides that disagree and who knows, maybe Congress will someday do the same thing instead of hiding in their little partisan forums debating amongst themselves how to screw the other party because in the end we are the ones that end up getting screwed. I am sure even you can agree with that.
